Gala Dinner at XeX Osaka(Chateau Margaux)

One of the glories of working in the food and beverage industry is being able to savor celebrated wines from around the globe!  This week, I was privileged enough to spend two days (May 19 at XeX Atago, Tokyo and May 21 at XeX Osaka) surrounded by the tantalizing aromas of several of Chateau Margaux’s splendid vintages ranging from 1989 to 2006.
My personal favorite was the Chateaux Margaux vintage1999 that accompanied the Grilled Tuna & Foiegras whit Lentil . Although I was working meticulously in the kitchen, this did not prevent me from stealing a few sips of the succulent nectar offered to me by Monsieur Potailler.  On the whole, our two wine pairing dinners were a great success, and I am already looking forward to our next venture with our friends from the house of Chateau Margaux.  I conclude today’s blog by sharing with you, one of my favorite quotes:
